Edukasi Kesehatan Tentang “Lawan Low Back Pain” Pada Guru SDN Wates 5 Kota Mojokerto

Low back pain (LBP) is a disorder that often occurs in daily life and attacks all individuals without exception. Things that can influence the occurrence of lower back pain are sitting activities, bending over for a long time, lifting and carrying loads in an unergonomic posture, abnormal spine, or due to certain diseases such as degenerative diseases. This community service aims to provide education about "Fighting Low Back Pain" to teachers at SDN Wates 5, Mojokerto City. The instrument used the Knowledge Level Questionnaire about Low Back Pain which consisted of 14 items. The design used a cross-sectional approach. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test. The results obtained by most of the respondents' level of knowledge before being given education was poor at 55.3%, while the level of knowledge after being given education was good at 94.7%. The results of the further analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the level of knowledge of respondents before and after being given education about "versus low back pain" to teachers at Wates 5 Elementary School, Mojokerto City (p-value = 0.000; α <0.05). Health education can provide understanding and the ability to prevent low back pain. Service members have participated in assisting government programs in reducing the potential for the emergence of non-communicable diseases, especially the incidence of low back pain in the community.
