Sosialisasi Kampung Zakat di Lingkungan Kantor Kementrian Agama Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

Abstract

Zakat Village is an activity of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia together with BAZNAS and the National Amil Zakat Institution to overcome community problems related to the fields of da'wah, economy, education, health and social humanities. The purpose of the Zakat Village Assistance Socialization is to increase public awareness of zakat obligations and ensure that the zakat they pay really reaches those who are entitled to receive it. The approach used is qualitative with a focus on public understanding and perception of zakat. By providing transparent and effective zakat collection, the program can provide support to those in need, while also encouraging cooperation and solidarity among various groups, fostering mutual respect and cooperation among communities. The zakat village program not only provides material support but can improve social and moral values in the community. Efforts to improve the zakat village program through the socialization of zakat villages for the community are an effective step in increasing community understanding and participation in the implementation of zakat.
